Block Island Death – The authorities have confirmed the death of one teenager following a fatal crash on Block Island on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
The initial report says that one teen has been confirmed dead and another in a critical state.

According to New Shoreham Police Chief Vincent Carlone, the crash occurred around 12.30 p.m on West Side Road. The 17-year-old teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second teen was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital, says the Rhode Island State Police.
An underage female has been charged with DUI and driving to endanger which resulted in death and serious bodily injury. She is being held at the Rhode Island Training School and will be presented in Family Court on Tuesday.
The crash is still under investigation.
