Annette Lake Death – On Monday, August 3, the authorities confirmed the death of a 39-year-old man who drowned at Annette Lake near Jasper.

Report says on 5.pm on Monday, Mounties were called on a possible drowning, and paramedics and parks staff were already on site trying to revive the victim, but all efforts proved futile.

The police says he was declared dead at the scene.
According to Jasper RCMP in a news release, “Several people including family and tourists made efforts to reach the male and assist in his recovery. The RCMP wishes to thank the many people who offered help.”

No foul play is suspected by the police but investigation still continues.

An autopsy will be performed by the medical examiner.
