Brett Lucht Death – A 50-year-old man from Wausau has drowned to death in the Big Cedar Lake at around 7pm on 3rd of July,
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 7:58pm on a man who dove into the Big Cedar Lake and they swung into action.

According to eyewitnesses, the 50-year-old man, dove into the lake and didn’t surface, that prompted the officers to be called into the scene.
The Big Cedar Lake PRD, Wisconsin State Patrol. Allenton Fire Dept., West Bend Intercept along side the Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the crime scene in the 5700 block of West Lake Dr, in the Town of West Bend.
The victim was later found in the water and brought out.
All effort made to revive him proved futile and he was pronounced dead on spot.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office are handling the investigation.
