Alberta Elderly Man Death – The authorities have confirmed the death of an elderly man aged 61-year-old from Alberta who drowned at a local beach on Tuesday afternoon, August 11.
At 2.30 p.m on Tuesday, first responders arrived the Okanagan Lake Beach in Penticton upon receiving the report of a possible drowning, says the officials.

According to witness report to RCMP, they saw the man lost consciousness while he was swimming. He was brought to shore by bystanders immediately and CPR performed on him before the arrival of the emergency crew.
The man was transported to the hospital where he unfortunately passed on, says Const. James Grandy, spokesperson for Penticton RCMP.
The Mounties in B.C.’s Okanagan and BC Coroners Service are investigating the incident.
