Elder Abuse Charge- Two individuals have been arrested in connection to the death of a 68-year-old Flint woman in a home on Bloor Avenue.
The Genessee County Sheriff reports this during the weekly press release. They were arrested for alleged elder abuse and 1st degree murder.
Police says that at the time of death, the 68-year-old woman weighed only 69 pounds.
Furthermore, it was reported that the deceased had not visited a doctor in 4 years and had not been out of bed since the last fall.
After the medical examiner’s autopsy, it was disclosed that the woman was malnourished and several bones were broken.
According to the Genessee County Prosecutor, the victims sister Lori Rosebush and her friend, Robert Stilwill have both been charged with 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Vulnerable Adult Abuse.
The deceased sister was also charged with embezzlement related to this case.
They have both been called on their charges and are held in jail without bail.
