Alabama Shooting – Hover Police Chief Nick Derzis reports during a news release of the death of an 8-year-old boy during a shoot out in Alabama inside the Riverchase Galleria.
The shooting in Alabama also injured a juvenile female and two adults who were transported to the hospital.

Investigation is ongoing to discover what led to the shooting. The scene has been tapped.
It was stated that the suburban Birmingham mall was the same site a shooting went off in 2018 involving a police officer who shot a black man to death after mistaking him for a gunman in a previous shootout in the mall.
