Trevor VanDyke was shot dead Monday night, March 2, 2020, according to North Carolina Central University officials.
VanDyke was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. Authorities arrived the scene shortly after 9:30 p.m. and found the first-year student dead.
There is no information available now if the person of the interest has been arrested. The motives of the shooting is yet to be revealed.
