25-year-old Shanaira Selden from Louisville who was reported missing on the 19th of October has been found dead. Shanaira’s mother told WLKY her daughter was found dead in the Ohio River over the weekend.
Shanaira was reported missing Oct. 19 from the 800 block of Whitney Avenue. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources recovered a woman’s body from the Ohio River near New Albany around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Shanaira’s body was pulled from Ohio River in New Albany. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources also confirmed victim’s identity.
How Shanaira’s death happened is not known yet and officials should be investigating the the cause of death.
