A report was laid to the Garden Grove Police Department from a family member of Vu in request of being unable to reach his father and brother.
It was reported to the police that Thinh Vu has been out of reached for days and police took action by heading to his home. On getting there they found him and his son Thomas Vu stabbed to death with wounds.
It was later concluded as being a suicide or murder case. Investigations are still going on to know if there is a suspect or if the two family had stabbed themselves to death. The police are yet to conclude on the victim and suspect between the two.
