Alphonso Newkirk Car Accident – Death; 83 year-old Alphonso Newkirk, of Mulberry, has died in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in State Road 37.
Investigations shows that, Newkirk was driving on SR 37, he veered to the east shoulder of the highway toward a ditch for unknown reasons. The pickup truck struck a street sign and a concrete culvert causing the vehicle to become airborne for about 50 yards and flip, landing on the truck’s roof.
He was not wearing a seatbelt as at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead after succumbing to the fatal accident.
Authorities identified the victim following the fatal accident. The friends and relations of the deceased have so far, taken to different social media timeline to post tributes and condolences the Newkirk‘s family.
