Adriana Saucedo Death
The 27-year-old Portage woman, who was reported missing on Tuesday night has been found dead. Adriana Saucedo was last seen getting into a dark-colored sedan outside her home in the 6200 block of Kathryn Court.
She was allegedly murdered by a man she found met on Facebook. According to police, Saucedo was found shot to death in an abandoned Gary elementary school Thursday.
Police said a 15-year-old male suspect has been arrested at the Thea Bowman Leadership Academy, 3401 W. 5th Ave., where he’s a freshman.
Portage police confirmed two additional arrests were made. A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male in connection with the case of Saucedo’s death.
Adriana was killed in Portage and her body was dumped at Norton Elementary School, 1356 Harrison Blvd. in Gary.
The suspect in the murder of Saucedo was involved in a vehicle pursuit Wednesday with the Lake County Sheriff’s department.
“He was driving what we believe to be the vehicle in which Ms. Saucedo was shot,” Police said in a statement release, Friday.
