Summer Knackstedt, a 36-year-old woman from Livermore has been killed in a two-vehicle accident that happened on Thursday morning on icy Red Feather Lakes Road.
According to Colorado State Patrol, Knackstedt was died in a crash which occurred at 7 a.m.
She was driving a Ford Focus eastbound on Red Feather Lakes Road (Larimer County Road 74E) when it skidded on the icy road about 15 miles west of Livermore. The car entered the westbound lane and collided with the front of a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup.
Police are investigating the accident.
