18-year-old Brenden Brown passed away following a shooting and car crash in east Columbus on Friday evening, November 22, 2019.
Officers responded to a crash shortly after 7 p.m. in the area of Shady Lane and East Livingston Avenue near Shady Lane Elementary school.
Brown was found lying inside a crashed vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 8.16 p.m
Investigating is ongoing.
