Saturday morning accident that killed a teen, her mother and another woman was a very sad one. The single-vehicle crash led to the death of 13-year-old Angelina Smith, her mother Candice Marie Young, 48 and 46-year-old Celest Drennan.
Smith was a student of Johnston Middle School in North Las Vegas and was on her way to Bountiful to spend Thanksgiving with her mother when the crash happened along I-15 in Millard County.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, Angelina Smith, her mother Candice Marie Young and Celest Drennan died in the crash, which occurred north of Cove Fort, Utah around 6:00 a.m.
Angelina’s mother was the driver of the Ford Ranger which traveled off the roadway and began to roll after being over-steered. Smith was ejected through the rear window while Drennan and Young remain in the vehicle.
They were all killed in the accident.
