Annika Swanson of Imperial was found dead on Sunday, November 25, 2019 near Imperial. Two suspects have been arrested and charged in the death of Swanson.
Officials identified the found body on Monday as 22-year-old Annika Swanson of Imperial, according to a Nebraska Attorney General’s office news release.
Prosecutors filed an amended complaint Monday charging two people with her kidnapping and first-degree murder between Nov. 12 and Nov. 15.
A 43-year-old man from rural Enders was arrested Thursday. County court records say Russell Mann is charged with two felony counts of being an accessory to kidnapping.
The sheriff’s office says two more people were arrested Saturday in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Prosecutors amended the case against Kevin German, 24, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and 22-year-old Keonna Carter, of Taylorsville, Utah, charging them with 11 counts, including first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of use of a firearm to commit a felony, assault and other crimes..
