24-year-old Ashor Anwia of Ottawa has passed away. He was shot gunned down in a Hunt Club parking lot on Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the Wednesday shooting victim as Ashor Anwia on Thursday morning. Police reported no arrests on Wednesday night and had yet to publicly identify the victim.
Ashor WAS gunned down around 2:44 p.m., according to police. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics resuscitated him and rushed him to hospital. He was pronounced dead around 3:15 p.m.
