50-year-old Stanley Torinese, Jr. has tragically passed away. He died on November 20, 2019 after being ran over by a pickup in a hit-and-run incident.
Stanley Torinese’s death was a very sad one. The driver involved in killing Torinese is being looked for by Investigators with the Tucson Police Department.
Stanley Torinese was pronounced dead on Saturday, following an early morning accident that happened around 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Congress Street and Sixth Avenue.
Late Saturday night officers identified the victim in that crash as 50-year-old Stanley Torinese, Jr.
It was reported that “Torinese laid in the street for a while, police said, and pickup truck ran him over and continued driving westbound on Congress.”
Investigators are searching for a gold or tan single-cab Chevy pickup with a chrome toolbox in the back. They believe the pickup is likely a late 90s or early 2000s model.
