Death & Obituary: Wilmington man, a 23-year-old Jaiwon J. Pollard died on December 2, 2019 in a fatal car accident that happened in Stanton-Christiana Road.
Pollard passed away following Monday accident .
According to authorities, Jaiwon J. was killed in a crash Monday, just before 6 a.m. on northbound Route 7, at the northernmost intersection with Stanton-Christiana Road.
Pollard was attempting a turn when he crossed into the path of a 63-year-old woman from Bear operating a Mercedes E350. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, authorities said.
