Deb Bluford Johnson passed on December 5, 2019, according to report. Her cause of death is unknown. In a Facebook post, The Barn Players Community Theatre, described Deb Bluford as “generous, kind and funny off the stage as on.”
“It is with great personal and professional sadness that I pass on the news that The Barn and the whole Kansas City theatre community has lost another friend, champion and performer.
“Our beloved Deb Bluford-Johnson passed away after a very sudden and brief illness. Please remember her as one of the best comedic actors around.
“One who was as generous, kind and funny off the stage as on. I will post any information about services as I hear about them.”
