Jared Gillis’ Death – Jay McKenna (@warriorhoop) on the 11th of june 2020 announced the passing of his captain and coach Jared Gillis. In his post, he stated that Jared was a former warrior player and captain and that he helped personify what being a warrior was all about.
Although the cause of death was not stated he revealed that the warrior hoop family are heart broken and will really miss him.

We are absolutely devestated by the passing of Jared Gillis. Jared was a former Warrior player, captain, and coach. One of the all time great players, coaches, and people. He helped personify and define what being a Warrior is all about. Our Warrior Hoop family is heart broken.
