Russ Brode Death | Dead – Russ Brode Obituary – The former president of Akron Fire Fighter has died, Saturday, June 13, 2020, just a week and three days to his 56th birthday.
Brode served as president of the Local 330 organization for 4 years. His cause of death was associated with his long time battle with cancer.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Former president of the Akron Fire Fighters Association Local 330, Russ Brode, passed away earlier Saturday from occupational cancer, Local 330 said.
In November 2, 2019, Ohio Fire Fighters, in a Twitter post announced Borde’s struggle with the cancer. Sharing a GoFundMe link, OFF wrote.. “Our brother Russ Brode is fighting a battle and we are in need of support. When he is discharged from the hospital in 2 to 3 weeks he will need around the clock care. This means a caregiver 24/7 for approximately 2 weeks. On June 13, 2020 being the day, Russ Brode died, Ohio Fire Fighters once again, took to its Twitter page to announce the passing of Brode.
