Man Arrested For Murder – Following the investigation on the murder of a 34-year -old woman identified as Keishana C. Currie, of Peoria,who was found dead in her vehicle on May 24, a man has been charged on Thursday for her death.
Peoria County Officers on May 24 at around 5am, responded to the call for reports of an unresponsive female. It was stated that life saving measures were carried out but Currie was pronounced dead at the scene.

After the investigation and interview by detectives of the Peoria Police Department, Ditarius K. Jordan, 24 year-old male was charged for first degree murder.
Jordan was arrested for vexed discharge of a firearm although in an unrelated incident and was transported to Peoria County Jail.
The Peoria County Coroner, Jamie Harwood stated that the victim suffered a head injury, as well as a single-gun-shot to her head which likely led to her instant death.
