Daniel Dovi Charged With Murder – Investigators believed that Daniel Dovi killed two homeless men on nearby Fort Lauderdale beach before he led police on a chase up Interstate 95 on June 9.

He was charged on Monday with the deaths of a 59-year-old Walter Amryan and 37-year-old Adan Gonsulez.

According to report, Dovi has the charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill (two counts), aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (two counts), criminal mischief over $1,000 (two counts), one count of fleeing law enforcement and one count of battery and has been in jail since June 9 in the Broward Sheriff’s Office’s North Broward Bureau. His bond was $97,000.

The victims bodies were discovered around 6:15 am on June 9 by a couple on their morning workout near the beach who later placed the 911 call.

The Fort Lauderdale police stated that while detectives started investigation on the deaths of Amryan and Gonsulez at 3054 Ocean, Dovi was already half mile away in the vacant lot at 2613 Center Avenue.

According to the arrest report, Dovi had previously had an unhealthy conversation with the owner of the lot when he confronted Dovi of parking on a private property who in turn claimed ownership of the land and pushed and threatened to kill the owner. The owner drove away calling 911 but on his return the golf cart has been driven to the edge of his property and Dovi rammed the Porsche on the driver’s side.
