Chris Todhunter Death | Chris Todhunter Obituary – According to a post on the 28th of June 2020 by The First Casualt, Chris Todhunter has passed away. He was part of the Royal Marines of NP8901. Chris had suffered with a long illness which affected his mobility and neural functions. With typical grit, he held on until the end of the 38th anniversary of the Falklands war.
Chris Todhunter was a successful naval fiction author, he led an action-packed and true “Boy’s own” lifestyle, following his true passions and his great heroes such as Shackleton down to the Antarctic, he served in the defence of Stanley.
He was incredibly impressed with the result of The First Casualty and thought it gave everyone involved the justice they deserved. Chris Todhunter was one of the stars of the book; The First Casualty, and also the original defender of the Falklands, from HMS Endurance. The time of death was not included in the post.
