Anthony Terlato Death | Anthony Terlato Obituary – We are sad to be announcing the loss of one of the true giants in the U.S. wine industry Anthony “Tony” Terlato. He died early this morning the 29th of June 2020 at age 86. Anthony made it his life work to be bringing great wines to American consumers as a retailer, distributor, importer, and winery owner.
Terlato Wine Group was Chicago-based and Anthony Terlato was it founder and chairman. Terlato Wine Group was an importer that markets top producers including Gaja, M. Chapoutier, Piper-Heidsieck, and Nino Franco. Tony introduced Americans to high-quality wine for decades, particularly Italian wines. The cause of death is still unknown.
