California Highway Collision – A collision that happened on the southbound Interstate 280 Freeway in Stanford reported at 2:34 p.m, has taken the life of at least on person.
The California Highway Patrol report said a small white Toyota Tundra pickup truck crashed into a wall. It appeared to have been hit from behind by a large vehicle which was not seen at the scene.

The Coroner was immediately called to the scene and a SigAlert was issued due to two lanes being blocked.
Circumstances behind the crash and liability are still under investigation.
