Bay Area Freeway Service Patrol Driver Death – A 61-year-old man identified as Mark Alarcon was the victim involved in a mobile crash on the I-280 Freeway in Woodside, on Tuesday.
The Bay Area Freeway Service Patrol driver was helping a stranded motorist on the Freeway Road before he meet his untimely death.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:40pm on the right shoulder of the Interstate 280 Freeway
The deceased was standing outside his car when red lumber truck crashed into both him and his vehicle. The 25-year-old truck driver however, stopped and cooperated with authorities on scene.
The police said the crash took place between Edgewood Road and Farm Hill Boulevard.
Mark Alarcon’s death is still under investigation.
