Teenager Dies A Hero – A California boy has died while trying to save another. The 17-year-old teenager drowned while trying to save a 12-year-old boy who was fighting his breath to stay above water in Lake Camanche in Burson, says the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.
According to bystanders, the 12-year-old boy went into the lake and couldn’t swim his way out so the teenager went in to help him.

The teenage was able to hand the boy over to another swimmer, who got him to safety, but wasn’t able to get himself to safety.
The officials says the teenager suffered a cramp in his lower leg before he went underwater. His body was later found 30ft from shore and 14ft in water.
