Doug Woog Dead | Cause of Death:
Gopher Hockey has died. Woog passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. The Wooger” coached the team to six Frozen Fours and won 389 games over 14 seasons.
Woog passed away at the of 75. He had battled Parkinson’s disease and other ailments in recent years and he had finally taken a rest.

Dick Bremer It was my pleasure to do Gopher hockey for a few years with the greatest pleasure being around the affable Doug Woog. Very saddened to hear of his passing today. What a great ambassador for hockey and, beyond that, the state of Minnesota. RIP.
