Sgt. Craig Johnson Death | Sgt. Craig Johnson Obituary – Sgt. Craig Johnson a Tulsa police officer was shot in the line of duty on Monday but sadly passed away on Tuesday, 30th of June 2020. Chief Wendell Franklin made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon that Sgt. Craig Johnson died after being shot during a traffic stop around 3:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police say the second officer involved in the shooting, Officer Aurash Zarkeshan, is improving and has been responsive to medical staff. Two people are in custody including the alleged gunman and the getaway driver who picked Ware up Matthew Hall.
