Charlotte Highway Fatal Crash – A Family of four have been identified by the authorities as those involved in a deadly automobile crash on Friday, July 3rd before 8:00pm on I-485 near Oakdale Road in Charlotte.
Andrea Obester and family; her husband Matthew Obester and daughters, 7-year-old Violet and 12-year-old Elizabeth were among those who lost their lives in the crash.

According to reports, a vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed on the outer lanes of I-485 when it crashed into a box truck. The box truck lost control and drove across the median into the inner loop.The truck then collided with two northbound cars.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
