Glenn Powell Death – According to Mt. Healthy Police Department, a man identified as Glenn Powell., 63, has died after he was struck in the head by a firework on Sunday overnight.
The sad incident which occurred around 1:50am on Adams Road brought the police to the scene.

He was reported to have been hit in the head by fireworks.
The police says it was a self inflicted accident as Powell lit the firework himself (which is a commercial grade mortar shell) but unfortunately it hit him in the head.
Powell was pronounced dead at scene. He was confirmed to have died due to serious head trauma.
His family describes him as a father who will be missed and also a Navy veteran.
According to Cynthia James, Mt. Healthy Officer: “Upon officers’ arrival, they determined the victim had actually died due to some heavy trauma from the firework. All we know at this point was that he was setting off the firework himself and it was self inflicted.”
The Hamilton County Bomb Squad were called in to confiscate more fireworks from the scene.
Investigators believe that the type of fireworks used are those used by professionals.
