Charles Edward Daniels is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his contributions to Southern rock, country, and bluegrass music. He was a wonderful entertainer, Christian gentleman, servant to our veterans like no other, humble and kind man despite being multi-talented, successful, and hard working.
Daniels is popularly known for his number-one country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. He has been active as a singer and musician since the 1950s. He was born on the 28th of October 1936 and died on the 6th of July 2020 at the age of 83.
