Sean Fredrickson Death | Obituary – The golf pro at Oswego Lake Country Club and president of the Pacific Northwest Section PGA Sean Fredrickson was killed along with his three children in a plane crash at Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho on Sunday
The loss of Sean Fredrickson and his children Hayden, Sofie, and Quinn is a devastating situation, Fisher said.
“Sean was an outstanding golf professional awarded to the PGA Professional of the Year by the Pacific Northwest Division PGA in 2019. Oswego Lake Country Club was honored to see it as a member of our family. The positive spirit and joy in the game of golf was contagious. But more importantly, Sean was a tremendous husband, father, and friend. Our love and sincere sympathy goes to his wife Nisan, his family and friends during this loss period. ”
The Associated Press reported that the accident occurred when two planes collided on the lake. Eight people, including 48-year-old Fredrickson and his son Hayden, were killed in an accident along with stepchildren Sofie and Quinn.
Fisher said he knew Fredrickson had met at different golf tournaments over the years, and the two got closer. Fredrickson spent 14 years at Tualatin Country Club as a golf expert before being hired by Lake Oswego in 2019. Fredrickson was a golf professional at Lake Oswego a year before his death.
