The American mathematician Ronald Lewis Graham was credited by the American Mathematical Society as being “one of the principal architects of the rapid development worldwide of discrete mathematics in recent years”.
According to Matt Parker (@standupmaths) on the 7th of July 2020, “Graham’s Number was an early @numberphile hit and he took the time to explain it himself.” The cause of death was not included.
