Thanh Nguyen Death – According to the authorities, a man has died on Monday, July 6, 2020 in Clearwater Beach when he was trying to save his son and niece who were struggling in the water.
The man has been identified as a 55-year-old Thanh Nguyen, of Atlanta. He was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital where he was rushed to after being pulled from the water.

At about 2:33pm, the Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire Rescue were called to the place of the incident.
It was reported that the deceased had noticed that his son and niece were struggling in the water near Tower 3 before he went in to help them, unfortunately he didn’t make it out alive.
The Clearwater Beach lifeguards were notified immediately but they found Nguyen’s body floating in the water. CPR was administered immediately until the fire medics from Clearwater fire arrived, after which he was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
