Rev. Fr Joe (Jose Manuel) Guzman Death | Obituary – Rev. Fr Joe (Jose Manuel) Guzman age 62 f the Prelature of Opus Dei passed away this morning in Chile his home country as the result of a heart attack.
Rev. Fr Joe (Jose Manuel) Guzman was the chaplain of Whitesands School when the school was founded 20 years ago.
After a couple of years, he worked in Ibadan as the Chaplain of Bodija Study Centre, Imoran Centre and Irawo University Centre – private halls of residence for students of the University of Ibadan he was also a Spiritual Director at Ss Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija Ibadan for many years. He would be greatly missed… a very cheerful soul.
He died of a heart attack today after suffering a mild stroke last year. He had gone to Chile some ten months ago to continue medical checks.
