I was working at NatWest at the time this was all happening and two armed coppers stormed in one lunchtime, locked our doors and told us Raul Moat had been spotted in the area.
Turns out some bald dude was just buying a snickers from a spar over the road.

Seeing on the news about Raul moat it was literally the time I did my work experience for the police at 14 and I was in a undercover police van and it came over the signal they found him and I’ve never seen a man change the radio so fast he then finished my work experience early
