Destiny Harrison Death | Obituary – Destiny Harrison age 21 was shot dead in the head in her own salon in front of her daughter.
Hairstylist Destiny Harrison was in fear for her life when she was gunned down at her own Baltimore salon, local ABC affiliate WMAR reported. On Dec. 9, the 21-year-old shop owner was robbed and beaten at her place of business by two people who resided in the area.
The thugs, a man and a woman, stomped her out and made off with $3000 worth of bundled hair extensions, the victim wrote in a statement of charges.
According to AP News, Baltimore could end 2019 beating its own record for the highest homicide rates per capita. As of Christmas Eve, three hundred thirty-eight killings have been documented by police. The city’s previous record this time last year was 309; it’s highest was 342 in 2017 and 2015.
Harrison is described by loved ones as a “wonderful girl, an entrepreneur, a go-getter.” Her broken-hearted mother calls her an angel. It’s unfortunate her life was treated so meaninglessly in what may have been an act of revenge for calling the police. No arrest has been made.
Revolt reported that two-time world champion super featherweight boxer Gervonta Davis, also from Baltimore, covered Harrison’s funeral cost.
