Divina Ridley Death | Divina Ridley Obituary – Divina Ridley has been confirmed dead. Divina Ridley joined the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in the summer 2018 as Aboriginal Student Community Learning Experience Coordinator. According to SASS (@UBC_Sass) on the 10th of July 2020, Divina helped students find Indigenous community visits for students as part of their enrolment in the AUDI 540 course (“Approaches to Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology for People of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Heritage”).
For this course, Divina Ridley also organized yearly visits with students and faculty to the UBC First Nations House of Learning (Longhouse), coordinated meetings among students, faculty and community Elders, and provided administrative support.

It is with great sadness we announce that our wonderful colleague, Divina Ridley, passed away on July 4, 2020.
She will be very much missed and be remembered with fondness at our School.
