West Englewood Death – The Chicago police reports of a fatal shooting that happened on Sunday, July 12, in West Englewood on the South Side, which led to the death of a 20-year-old man and left two teenagers injured.

According to the police report, the victims were in a vehicle at a gas station at 11:28 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Damen Avenue when a silver SUV pulled up and someone inside started shooting.

The 20-year-old driver was shot several times. He was rushed to Holy Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead, says the police.

The details about his death is yet to be released by the Cook County medical examiner’s office

The teenagers who got injured, 14 and 17-year-old boys were shot in the back and arm respectively. They were both taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and are not under life-threatening conditions
