Steven C. Johnson Death – On Monday, July 13, 2020, Topeka police identified the man who died after a fatal motorcycle crash on the city’s south side on Saturday night as 54-year-old Steven C. Johnson, of Topeka.
The crash which only involved Johnson’s motorcycle happened around 8:55 p.m in the 3600 block of S.W. Burlingame Road, says Topeka police.

Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene and found a man who had been thrown off a motorcycle upon arrival.
Johnson sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
