Joshua Ramos Death | Obituary – Joshua Ramos was sadly murdered on Sunday, July 5, 2020. The Troop F Coudersport Criminal Investigation Unit received a reliable tip about a murder that took place in Potter County, Pa., sometime between late March and early April of this year.
An investigation was immediately started and with the assistance of Pennsylvania State Police K-9 Jack and state troopers the remains of 19-year-old Joshua Ramos, of Galeton, were found in a wooded area near the intersection of Harrison Rooks Road and Whiteman Road in Harrison Township, Potter County, PA.
On Monday, July 6, 2020, at 12:53PM Potter County Coroner Kevin Dusenbery pronounced Ramos deceased. This action allowed the activation of Troop F Major Case Team and the investigation took it’s next step forward in the case.
Upon further investigation and with information obtained in the tip that launched the entire investigation, it was revealed 33-year-old Felicia Kay Cary, 20-year-old Krysten Lauren Crosby, and 28-year-old Kyle Michael Nathan Moore, all of Galeton; allegedly assaulted Ramos. The assault and murder took place at Cary’s residence in Galeton. The trio then transported Ramos’ body to the wooded area where he was later found.
FNN learned that Felicia Cary and Kyle Moore were in a relationship at the time of the crime. It was also related to FNN that Krysten Crosby was dating the victim, Joshua Ramos.
Potter County District Attorney Andy Watson approved charges that included the murder of the first degree, the murder of the third degree, and conspiracy to commit the murder of the first degree against all three individuals.
Cary and Crosby were taken into custody in Potter County and were arraigned before the Hon. Christopher Kalacinski, District Court 55-4-03, on July 6.
Cary was remanded to the McKean County Jail with bail denied and her preliminary hearing is set for July 27th at 12:30 PM. Crosby was remanded to the Tioga County Jail, also with no consideration of bail due to the seriousness of the charges and rules of criminal procedure. Crosby’s preliminary hearing is set for July 28th at 10:00AM.
On July 7, 2020, Kyle Moore was located in New York, where he was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals with the assistance of the New York State P
