Mike “Bear” Youkilis, 70 of Cincinnati, Ohio died on Saturday, 11th of July 2020. Mike was a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. He was an active member of Adath Israel.
He was the founder and CEO of Midwest Diamond Distributors for over twenty years.
His success in the jewelry business was measured by sales, of course, but his ability to connect with people is what made him successful. Mike had loyal customers across the U.S. who became his friends over many years of doing business together. Not only did he share his knowledge of diamonds with his customers to strengthen their business, he was affable and loved sharing stories and forging relationships.
Mike “Bear” Youkilis, age 70 of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020. Son of Alvin and Sara Youkilis. Loving husband of Carolyn Youkilis. Beloved father of Scott (Stacy) Youkilis, Kevin (Julie) Youkilis and Aaron (Toni) Youkilis. Most cherished Papa Bear of Samantha, Madelyn, Everett, Charlie, Honor, Jordan, Zachary and Jeremy. He is survived by his brothers Edward Youkilis and Tom (Alison) Youkilis and friends all around the world.
