Bernice Taylor Death – The Birmingham police has reported the demise of an elderly woman, who died during an overnight shooting in Birmingham. The victim has been identified as Bernice Taylor, 64.
According to the police report, Taylor was in her kitchen around midnight, July 15, when she was hit by a stray bullet.

The shooting took place in an an apartment complex parking lot in the 1400 block of 24th Street North, says the police.
Her family members notified responding officers about her wound and unresponsiveness.
Taylor was confirmed dead at the scene.
Investigation is being handled by the Birmingham police and so far, no arrests have been made.
