16-year-old Lukas Mironovas has been jailed for 33 years for killing his mother Kimberly Mironovas, 47. The teen boy strangled his own mother to death after being expelled from his school in Litchfield, Mane, according to report,

Kimberly was strangled and stabbed after she invited Luka’s friends Thomas ‘TJ’ Severance, and William Smith, to her home over Luka’s welfare and growing concerns.

Lukas, Smith and Severance jointly planned Kimberly’s death after she accuse them of smoking marijuana and refused to take Smith and Severance home.

Kimberly’s sister who is traumatized by the incident, said Lukas suffered from a mental illness. Beth Hutchin revealed the murder shook his family: “Lukas needed professional therapy,” she said In an emotional statement during the sentence,

Maine State Attorney Meg Elam said outside the courtroom: “In a case where your mental health was not really the reason, the consequences must still be paid.” Aggressive factors included the fact that Kimberly was aware during his horrible final moments, and that the brutal murder was premeditated.
