Leroy Hanley Death | Leroy Hanley Obituary – Leroy Hanley in Rusholme was murdered and two men have been arrested following his murder. The men, aged 22 and 26, have both been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody for questioning. Police found an unresponsive man with head injuries collapsed on a sofa in a house on Carnforth Street at around 1.15am last Tuesday, July 14. Despite the efforts of paramedics the 59-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been named locally as Leroy Hanley who is thought to have lived on the street for a number of years. Neighbours have described Leroy as ‘such a nice guy’. Greater Manchester Police said there will continue to be an increased police presence in the area while the murder investigation takes place.
