Whiskey Beach Death – The police have reported the drowning of a 55-year-old man who was suspected to have drowned while swimming at the Whiskey Beach near Sai Kung, around 12:40 p.m on Thursday, July 23.
According to witness report, he was found floating in the sea. Passerby’s rescued him and called the police for help.

The police upon receiving the report, swung into action and arrived at the scene with a police boat. The victim was later sent to the Marine East Division Base.
He was in an unconscious state at the time and was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced dead.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
