Andreas Constantinou Death – According to local media, a local subcontractor was killed in an accident on Thursday, July 23, after falling from a height of fifteen feet at a construction site in Limassol.

Reports says the victim has been identified as 54-year-old Andreas Constantinou, a Greek Cypriot subcontractor.

Around 7:30am, Constantinou was inspecting a building under construction on Griva Digeni Avenue in Limassol when he unfortunately lost his balance under circumstances still pending investigation and fell from a height of about 4.5 metres into a gap between the excavation and a retaining wall.

Constantinou was rushed to the Emergency Room at Limassol General Hospital, where doctors on duty pronounced him dead on arrival.

The incident is still under investigation and jointly handled by the police officials and staff from the Labour department.
