Lamisha Nicole Avera Passed Away | Obituary:
22-year-old Lamisha Nicole Avera from Wetumpka has died on January 1, 2020 in a single vehicle crash that happened at 2:28 a.m., New Year’s Day.
Authorities said Lamisha was one of the passengers in a 1997 Lexus ES300 driven by a 25-year-old Ladarious Griffin of Montgomery when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
Lamisha was among the three people were killed in the car accident, and according to report, all three deceased occupants of the Lexus ES300 were not wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident.
One of the occupants of the vehicle who was wearing seatbelt survived the accident, but was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The accident happened on Rifle Range Road near Peace Church Road, approximately five miles east of Wetumpka.
